Inspired by the VfB Stuttgart away shirt - with city map! The purple away shirt is the counterpart of the VfB away shirt for the players on the field. In determining the colour, the traditional club took into account its history, during which this shade was already used several times. The design is inspired by the city map of Stuttgart. The Mercedes-Benz Arena is of course the centre of attention and is located directly below the emblem on the chest. As with the VfB home shirt, the district name sign "Bad Cannstatt" has been nicely applied to the inside of the collar, while the VfB lettering is visible on the back of the collar. In this way, the themes of the house and the club literally form the "strong backbone" of the players.
