The combination of appropriate support and judiciously placed cushioning means you feel secure with every step. Peg 40 offers neutral support. It gives you balance, whether you're a heel or forefoot striker. It's equally suited to long and short runs, providing a smooth transition from heel to toe.


• The more cushioning underfoot, the smoother and more comfortable the run. Cushioning helps reduce the impact when your feet hit the ground. Lightweight, durable foam provides responsiveness while retaining its shape, giving you a consistent feel, stroke after stroke.


• The more responsive the shoe, the greater the energy return with each step. Whether you want to run a little faster or with a little less effort, reactive shoes give you a little more spring in your step to get the most out of your run. 2 Zoom Air units (1 in the forefoot and heel) give you a rebond, springy, energized feel when you hit the ground running.
  When we sat down to design the Peg 40, we took an inside-out approach, literally, starting with a midfoot band for a more secure, yet forgiving feel, as if the Peg were giving your arch a welcoming, soft embrace.


• We wanted the shoe's interior to be comfortable, breathable and forgiving around the toes, arch and heel, where your feet are most sensitive, thanks to a circular pattern that allows it to conform to your foot.


• The suede material provides a better, irritation-free fit, from the first outing to the last.


• The single-layer mesh upper is lightweight and breathable.


• The redesigned midfoot strap creates a more molded fit to the foot, suitable for all arch sizes.


• The heel zone optimizes landing space and improves transition and durability.
