During this season, William Younger was the premier to sponsor the front of the jersey. Fulham finished in 9th place after a very successful second half of the season, with 8 wins and 7 draws. Paul Parker was voted Player of the Year and went on to play forAngleterre. Robert Wilson, Ray Lewington and Dean Coney all passed the 200-match mark for the club during the season.
