AS Saint-Etienne, a historical club

Founded in 1919 under the name of Amicale des employés de la Société des magasins Casino, this sports club of the Casino group was renamed Amicale Sporting Club in 1920 and merged with the Stade forézien to become the Association sportive stéphanoise in 1927.
