The Nike ReactX foam in the midsole provides better cushioning.
Woven mesh has been integrated with a tighter fabric in high-wear areas like the toe. The woven mesh is paired with vents on the upper for increased breathability. Bonus: the Flywire technology works with the laces to better secure your foot.
The outsole has less rubber than the previous version, allowing for a smooth transition from road to trail. But we still keep the ReactX midsole throughout. The rubber wraps around the front of the shoe for added durability. The computer-generated traction pattern combined with the rubber in the forefoot is more grippy on technical trails and ensures a smooth stride on the road.
