The Europa League
The Europa League is an annual soccer tournament organized by UEFA. It is considered the second most prestigious club soccer tournament in Europe after the Ligue des champions. Qualifying teams are drawn from the various national leagues in Europe, as well as from the clubs least successful of these leagues. Teams play knockout matches until only one team remains to win the trophy. The Europa League matches are not as well attended as the Ligue des champions matches, but they are still important for the clubs teams that participate in them, as they can earn large sums of money from the TV broadcasting rights. By winning the Europa League, the clubs also have the possibility to qualify for the Ligue des champions the following season

There are several historical clubs of the Europa League that have marked the history of this tournament over the years. Wecan talk about FC Sevilla: the Spanish club is the most successful club in the history of the Europa League, it has won the tournament 5 times. Inter Milan : the Italian club has won 3 Europa League titles, and is considered one of the best clubs in Europe of all times. Liverpool FC Juventus : the Italian club has won 2 Europa League titles, and is considered one of the most prestigious and talented clubs in Europe.Feyenoord Rotterdam: the Dutch club has won 1 Europa League title, and is considered one of the most innovative and creative clubs of all time.Parma: the Italian club has won 1 Europa League title, and is considered one of the most popular and most followed clubs of all time.
The historical players of the Europa League
Just like at Ligue des Champions there are many players who have marked the history of the Europa League over the years. Among them there is Diego Forlán, the Uruguayan player won the Europa League in 2010 with Atletico Madrid, he was elected best player of the competition and was the top scorer of the 2010 edition.
