Exceptional touch

Nike Gripknit is a sticky material that provides better contact with the ball. It covers a larger surface area, allowing you to have more control over the ball when dribbling at high speed or finishing off an action with a shot on goal. It conforms to the shape of your foot and gives you equal grip whether it's raining or dry for a sculpted fit, similar to track spikes. The micro-moulded texture works with Gripknit to better adapt to your foot and enhance strikes between the shoe and the ball.

Quick traction

The wave-shaped traction pattern is a series of cascading studs, allowing for greater surface engagement with the Air Zoom unit while providing just the right amount of grip. The largest stud is the same height as our traditional mid-length studs, so traction is not compromised. We've paired the wave traction with advanced chevron studs and blade studs to help you stop during quick bursts.

The full Flyknit upper is designed for speed. AtomKnit, an incredibly lightweight and strong Flyknit, on the sides, reduces weight and provides support. The Gripknit, AtomKnit, and Flyknit come together to form the thinnest Mercurial upper to date, bringing you closer to the ball and decreasing break-in time. The Dynamic Fit collar wraps around your ankle in a soft, stretchy fabric for a secure hold.
