Thin vs. Padded

Thin TRUsox have a slightly thinner footbed than the cushioned version.Typically, the thin version is worn with newer boots that are tighter on the foot.The cushioned version is often worn with boots that have been broken in, helping to provide a tighter and more secure fit.Many athletes who play on synthetic turf are found to prefer the cushioned version.

How to wear

Since TRUsoxes grip your foot and shoes simultaneously, they should be worn in direct contact with the foot and shoe.Using a traditional sock over or under the TRUsox will create a slip point and reduce effectiveness.Football (soccer) players have cut the toe off of their playing socks to create a sleeve.The sleeve is then used to overlap the TRUsox, allowing the TRUsox to function effectively while wearing a team-supplied game sock.It is not recommended to stick too low on the ankle as this can restrict ankle mobility and cause discomfort.
