Relive the past glory of Betis Seville with the 1995 Gordillo retro shirt, designed by Copa Football. Collect the history of football.
Lorenzo Serra Ferrer was a transformative manager for Real Betis during his four years at the helm of the club in the mid-90s. He achieved promotion to Liga in his first season, then went even better in 1994/95 by inspiring his team to a third-place finish in Liga, securing European qualification.
It was a fitting end to the long and successful career of club legend Rafael Gordillo who, after two stints and more than a decade at the club, would leave after playing his part in a great campaign alongside other notable players like Alexis Trujillo, Risto Vidakovic, and Ángel Cuéllar. The star of the season was undoubtedly the newly signed goalkeeper Pedro Jaro, who won the Trophée Ricardo Zamora by conceding only 25 goals in 38 league matches.
