Red Star FC Jersey 97/1998Relive the history of Red Star FC with the iconic shirt from the 97/1998 season, a vibrant tribute to French football.
Known then as AS Red Star '93, the Parisian club Red Star FC spent the early 1990s in Ligue 2, with the ambition of returning to the top flight for the first time since 1975. The 1991-1992 season was uneventful in the league, but it was in the Coupe de France - a competition that Red Star had already won five times - that the club made its mark. A splendid journey, led by exotic attacking talents like Safet Sušic, Sergey Rodionov, and the young future French international Steve Marlet, took the club to the quarter-finals, where they narrowly lost in extra time to AS Cannes, a Ligue 1 team.
