Watford Away Shirt 1983/85Relive the history of football with the iconic away shirt of Watford FC, a must-have for all fans.
Managed by Graham Taylor and owned by Elton John, Watford followed up their second place in the First Division with the club's first European adventure in its history, before ending the season with a trip to Wembley for an FA Cup final. After eliminating Kaiserslautern in Germany and then Levski Spartak Sofia in Bulgaria, Watford ultimately exited the UEFA Cup against Sparta Prague, who were stronger over two legs.
After Luther Blissett's departure to AC Milan for a record fee of 1 million, the new Scottish strike partnership of the Hornets, Mo Johnston and George Reilly, took the club to its very first FA Cup final. A good start in the final was cancelled out by Graeme Sharp's opening goal for Everton, before a very controversial goal from Andy Gray was enough for the Toffees to lift the trophy.
