Copa Football Red Star FC Tracksuit Jacket 1990/91

Then known as AS Red Star 93, the Parisian club Red Star FC spent the early 1990s in Ligue 2 with the ambition of returning to the top tier for the first time since 1975.

The 1991-92 season was unremarkable in the league, but in the Coupe de France, a competition won five times before by Red Star, the club shone. An excellent run, powered by offensive talents like Safet Sui?, Sergey Rodionov, and the young future French international Steve Marlet, took the club to the quarter-finals where they lost narrowly after extra time to the Ligue 1 club, AS Cannes.
