Our founder and chief designer, Michaela Weisskirchner-Barfod, is an Austrian architect living and working in the hometown of Fabelab, Copenhagen. A former architect and set designer, Michaela draws her inspiration for Fabelab products from the stories of the people around her. Our products are designed for versatile and everyday use for every family. With a multifunctional goal and high-quality materials, we guarantee a long lifespan for the products. We always design our products based on sustainable materials and beliefs. Reuse and recycling are fundamental principles of our brand. The products we make are crafted from sustainable textiles from our supplier in India. Being sustainable is a goal we pursue sincerely.
