Nike Gripknit is a sticky material that offers improved ball touch. It occupies a larger surface area, giving you better control of the ball when dribbling at high speed or finishing off an action with a shot on goal. Elle molds to the shape of your foot, giving you equal grip on sol wet or dry for a sculpted, track-spike-like fit. The Micromolding texture works with Gripknit to help shape your foot for improved cleat-to-ball striking.
Fast Traction
The wave-shaped traction pattern is a series of cascading cleats, engaging a larger surface area of the Air Zoom unit while providing the appropriate amount of grip. The largest stud is the same height as our traditional center studs, so traction is not compromised. We've combined wave-like traction with advanced herringbone and bladed cleats to help you stop when cutting fast.
Snug Fit
The complete Flyknit upper is designed for speed. Atomknit, an incredibly lightweight and durable Flyknit, on the sides, reduces weight and provides support. Gripknit, Atomknit and Flyknit combine to form the thinnest Mercurial upper to date, bringing you closer to the ball and reducing adaptation time.
