• To create the Pegasus 40, we took an inside-out approach, starting by placing a band in the middle of the foot for a more secure fit without sacrificing flexibility, as if the shoe were tenderly embracing your foot. We wanted the inside of the shoe to be comfortable, breathable and supple around the toes, arch and heel, where the foot is most sensitive, with a circular pattern designed to follow the shape of the foot. Suede provides a better fit without the risk of rubbing, mile after mile.
• We've integrated more foam around the collar for a better fit and optimal comfort. Then we improved the inner linings and full padding for an incredibly soft fit.
• Single-layer mesh combines with familiar, reliable structures and fibers for a pleasing fit and style. The mesh has been designed to provide exceptional feel and optimize air circulation, offering optimal breathability when the temperature rises.
• The Nike React technology is composed of a lightweight, resistant foam that guarantees a fluid, dynamic stride. We've coupled two Zoom Air units, in the forefoot and heel, for a more dynamic toe feel. The result is a smooth transition from heel to toe.
