Cleaning and care before use
As a rule, new goalkeeper gloves are impregnated so that they can be stored for a long time before being sold. This prevents the material from undergoing visible or noticeable changes to the touch. To optimize the grip of the goalie gloves, you need to thoroughly remove this impregnation by hand washing them before using them for the first time. Use warm water anduhlsport goalie glove cleaner. As long as the water is colored when cleaning the gloves, it means that residues of the impregnation are still in the material. Continue washing the gloves until the water runs clear.
Cleaning and care during use
Wash the gloves regularly by hand with lukewarm water. It is best to go to the shower with your gloves right after the game or training. It is not advisable to clean them in the washing machine, as this could significantly reduce the life of the gloves.
Attention:
Do not expose the goalkeeper gloves to direct sunlight and do not dry them on a radiator (= intense heat). If the gloves are not going to be used for a long time, store them in a dry and dark place.
Important
The higher the quality of the foam, the faster it wears out. We therefore advise you to choose your gloves carefully according to the terrain and conditions under which you play.
The foam of gant can start to deteriorate from the first use. However, the gloves will continue to offer the same grip until the foam wears out completely.
